Swinley Premier Handicap Chase Preview..

Hi Reader

A decent Saturday of competitive racing at Haydock and Ascot.

I have strong fancies in both premier handicap chases at each course.

Ultimately, I have sided with Ascot for today's Big Saturday race, namely the Betfair Swinley Handicap Chase.

The "goodish" ground and stiff finish should suit our selection nicely.

Ok, let's crack on with today's preview and tips.

Dan Skelton takes aim with Snipe

Joyeuse was different class last Saturday. Hopefully you had a saver on her!

Today, we switch to chasing with the three mile, premier handicap chase at Ascot, highly interesting.

Snipe was a major eye catcher when third in the Great Yorkshire handicap chase at Doncaster. He was settled out the back and made up a lot of ground in a race dominated by the prominent runners. Snipe would have finished closer but for a mistake at the last fence.

The handicapper has left his mark at 128 and hopefully the stiffer finish at Ascot will allow him more time to reel in the leaders. Harry Skelton rides with Snipe carrying a low weight of only 10 stone 3 pounds. The ground will be a tad slower here than at Doncaster which is more suitable for hold up runners.

Ascot 3:00

1 point each way Snipe 8/1 Bet365 else 15/2 Paddy Power, Betfair SB & Betfred, all paying 4 places.

Best of Luck,

Nicky

Hi Reader We switch to the flat for the Lincoln Heritage Handicap at Doncaster today. Next weekend it's the Aintree Grand National! Crazierthandaisy was a late non-runner last Saturday. It left a gap and best going forward to select two runners against the field in the big race on Saturdays. Big Saturday Race Preview And Tips

Hi Reader The Cheltenham Festival is done and dusted (another profitable one). We swiftly move onto the Midlands Grand National. It's hard to believe that the flat returns on Sunday with the Irish Lincolnshire at the Curragh racecourse! This Saturday, we take aim at the Midlands Grand National which has attracted a field of 17 runners. Hopefully, we enjoy better luck as Wreckless Eric was a very unlucky loser in the Imperial Cup last weekend at Sandown. Big Saturday Race Preview And Tips All...
