The racing has been good at Kempton where Nicky Henderson's stars have shone.

Constitution Hill was already special but now we know Sir Gino is another top class two mile chaser for the seven barrows team.

Nolan holds strong hand in Pertemps Qualifier

The Savills Chase looks a match race between Galopin Des Champ and Fact to File. At Newbury the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle winner will come from one of the top three in the market!

We seek value in Ireland at Leopardstown in the Pertemps hurdle qualifier.

A competitive 23 runner field in this Pertemps Handicap Hurdle qualifier. I am keen to back two horses carrying lightweights over the three-mile trip around Leopardstown which has a stiff finish.

Paul Nolan runs three and I am siding with Maxi Mac Gold with decent 7lb claimer Tiernan Power Roche riding. He raced twice over fences in October before reverting to hurdles at Navan. I liked the way he finished at Navan over 2m6.5f in a valuable competitive handicap.

We know he stays three miles as last season he won cosily at Cork on good ground in a maiden hurdle. The nice ground, first time blinkers and only 10 stone on his back should see Maxi Mac Gold involved at the business end of this race.

Win Some Lose Some was a major eye catcher in the Brown Lad handicap hurdle at Naas last month. He took a while to reach top gear up the finishing straight, coming from the back of the pack to finish fourth in need of further. This five-year-old won two runs ago at Clonmel and looks progressive and well handicapped on a mark of 125.

Win Some Lose Some is a homebred, having his ninth run over hurdles but first over this extended trip. Mark Walsh will have learned lots riding him at Naas and if he stays, he surely will go close with ground to suit and off a low weight of 10-8.

Of the rest, King Alexander is an unknown quality over this trip on his first run since switching from Nicky Henderson to Wilie Mullins. Salvador Ziggy is dangerous if rejuventated by switching to Barry O'Connell from Gordon Elliott.

Stafffordshire Knot was sold for big money and could well improve for going out in trip but I have my doubts. God only knows that Tony Martin's plan is for former Pertemps Final winner Good Time Jonny!
